Okay, I'll say what no one wants to admit about Sohna Road. Everyone glorifies it as the next big thing for Gurugram, but real ground reality kaafi different lagti hai, especially for families. Hum 3BHK dekh rahe hain, kids ke school aur safety meri wife ki top priority hai. Wahan ka daily commute, traffic, aur basic amenities like good schools ya parks, are they actually good ya sirf brochures mein hi sab sahi hai? I've heard so many horror stories about the traffic near Badshahpur. Is it worth paying a premium for that 'future growth' when present mein life mushkil ho? Change my mind.

Schools aur traffic toh theek hai, but what about other basic amenities like hospitals, decent parks for kids to play, ya even a good grocery store? Are they easily accessible ya sab kuch abhi bhi Gurugram se hi lena padta hai? I heard some areas near Basai have better access to these, but Sohna Road ka kya scene hai?
Amenities ka toh long-term development hai. Abhi toh market conditions bhi tight hain, interest rates upar hain, toh builders bhi phase-wise development kar rahe hain. Property prices Gurugram mein overall high chal rahi hain, toh Sohna Road ek option ban jata hai, but with its own set of compromises. It's a tough call for first-time buyers.
Dekho, hospitals aur grocery stores kuch areas mein aa gaye hain, especially jo residential hubs ban gaye hain. But still, for super-specialty hospitals ya big malls, you'd have to drive towards Gurgaon. Parks kaafi projects mein internal hain, but public parks ya community spaces ki abhi bhi kami hai. Basai side kaafi developed hai in terms of amenities compared to the newer parts of Sohna Road.
My personal experience has been mixed. Humne ek builder ke project mein invest kiya tha Sohna Road pe 3 saal pehle. Possession date toh 1.5 saal pehle ki thi, abhi tak project stuck hai. RERA mein complaint bhi ki hai, but response slow hai. Builders wahan pe thoda casual approach rakhte hain kyunki demand high hai aur buyers ko lagta hai 'sasta mil raha hai'. Always check builder ka track record and financial stability before booking. Don't get swayed by lower per sqft rates only.

Humne Baliawas ke paas ek plot dekha tha, sasta tha but basic facilities ke liye bhi 10 km jaana padta. Families ke liye immediate needs zyada important hain than some distant promise of growth, especially with kids.

Bhai, you hit the nail on the head! Hum bhi 3BHK dekh rahe the Sohna Road pe, budget mein aa raha tha but daily commute ka soch ke hi darr lagta hai. Badshahpur se aage ka traffic toh headache hai. Aur agar wife ki job Gurgaon mein hai, toh woh commute aur bhi mushkil ho jayega. Kya karein samajh nahi aa raha.

Haan, bilkul sahi kaha! Woh Badshahpur wala stretch toh nightmare hai. Subah-shaam wahan se nikalna matlab 45 min extra fix kar lo. Meri friend Airport Road se aati hai, usko bhi same issue hota hai agar Sohna Road side jana ho.
Totally agree with the original post! Sohna Road ka hype bahut hai but ground reality mein families ke liye abhi bhi struggle hai. Especially schools, yaar. Humne kuch projects dekhe, schools ya toh bahut door hain ya fir quality ka doubt hai. Kids ke liye toh compromise nahi kar sakte na.
