Sold my big house, now thinking rental income

Kumaraswamy Layout - been looking at properties here for a potential rental investment. Kids have moved out, so sold our big place, ab thoda funds hain. Soch raha hoon ek chhota flat le loon Bangalore mein, kiraye pe dene ke liye. But yeh rental yields ka kya scene hai? Log bolte hain rents bahut badh gaye hain, but as a landlord, kya actual mein worth it hai? Maintenance aur tenant hassles bhi toh hain. Should I consider this for steady income, ya koi aur better option hai?
