Stamp duty and registration are the biggest hidden costs in Chandigarh. I'm looking at a 3BHK in Sector 24C, around ₹1.5 Cr. Builders quote one price, but these government charges add a huge chunk. Is there *any* legitimate way to reduce this total outgo? Or is it just a fixed, unavoidable hit on the all-in cost? What's your experience?
