Struggling to find real value in Chandigarh deals
Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now stuck on finding a genuinely good deal. I work in real estate, but buying for myself is different. Builders here, especially for a 3BHK in Mohali Sector 69-71, quote around ₹1.5 Cr, but then PLC, floor-rise, parking easily add another ₹10-15L. It feels overpriced for new projects. I'm thinking secondary market deals offer better value. Is it easier to negotiate hard on resale properties in Chandigarh versus new launches? Like, for a 2-year-old flat in Aerocity, can you actually knock off more than 5-7%? New Chandigarh builders like Omaxe or Sushma are so rigid. What's your experience with resale negotiation? Are sellers desperate, or still holding out for peak prices? Trying to find the real value for an investment.
