Struggling to find value in Rajkot's resale market
Honestly, I thought selling our big house and finding a smaller flat in Rajkot would be simple. Kids have moved out, so don't need such a big place anymore. We're looking for a manageable 2BHK or small 3BHK, maybe near Kalawad Road or Mota Mava, something with a good lift and near a hospital. But yaar, the market seems a bit confusing right now. I'm trying to figure out if there are any real 'price correction' zones in Rajkot. Builders like Balaji Group ya Swaminarayan Group ke projects mein toh seedha price batate hain, negotiation ka scope kam lagta hai. Is it possible to find genuine value in the secondary market, especially for resale flats? Like, are people more willing to negotiate on older properties? I heard Ansal API ke kuch projects mein achhi deals mil jaati hain agar thoda dhundo toh. Any specific areas or tips for spotting these? Trying to avoid overpaying, warna retirement savings pe impact aayega.

Bhai, totally relate to this. Hum bhi yahi soch ke nikle the ki Rajkot mein toh deals mil jaati hain easily. But Kalawad Road aur Mota Mava mein toh prices sky-high lag rahe hain. Resale mein bhi log bahot high expectations rakh rahe hain. Lagta hai sabko lagta hai unki property gold hai.
Haan bilkul! Especially jabse naye projects aaye hain, purane waale bhi utna hi maang rahe hain, which makes no sense to me.
