Stuck on UC vs RTM, need real experiences
I work in real estate and thought buying my own place in Bengaluru would be easier, but honestly, it's a whole different ballgame. Budget finalised, loan pre-approved for around 1.5Cr for a 2BHK, mainly looking at Whitefield or Sarjapur Road. My biggest hang-up is under-construction vs ready-to-move. I see the pre-launch 'discounts' but also know the builder payment trap. I've seen so many project delays, even from big names like Prestige or Sobha, where buyers get stuck for years. RERA was supposed to fix things, but delays still happen, right? Is it really worth risking an under-construction project for the supposed savings, or just pay a bit more for RTM and peace of mind? With the PRR and Metro extensions, I'm wondering if delays will get even worse. Has anyone bought UC recently and had a smooth experience? Or am I better off just biting the bullet for RTM?
