Honestly not sure why I didn't look into this sooner, but the sheer amount you can save on taxes with a home loan is crazy. I'm so fed up of renting, finally taking the plunge for a 2BHK in Sohna, maybe near Golf Course Extension. Was doing the EMI vs rent math and realized Section 24 and 80C ka kitna bada impact hota hai. Builders don't really explain this well. Does anyone have a good CA for this? This really changes the whole affordability game, makes buying feel less daunting. Hope this helps someone who's also stuck on the numbers.
