Tax benefits on home loan: Are they really that simple?

Spent the whole Sunday checking out options in Kalawad Road and 150 Feet Ring Road. I'm looking at 2BHKs, budget around ₹50L. Parents keep saying tax benefits are huge, Section 80C, 24... but honestly, I'm not sure kaise apply hota hai. Builder ne bola loan pe mil jayega, but what's the actual saving? Is it really worth it for a first-time buyer like me? Any hidden catches ya paperwork ka headache?
