Looks like the Telangana government is getting ready to kick off the second phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme this Telangana Formation Day! While the launch event is in Adilabad, this statewide initiative could have interesting ripple effects right here in Hyderabad. With officials tasked to find suitable land within 5-8 km of beneficiaries, it hints at increased government activity in land allocation, potentially utilizing parcels that might otherwise enter the market. What are your thoughts on how this focus on affordable housing might impact property prices or land availability for buyers and investors in our city?

Yaar, Indiramma Housing sounds good on paper, but I'm always skeptical about these government schemes. The last few times, land acquisition delays and quality issues have been huge problems. Will this actually deliver affordable homes or just create more bottlenecks in the market for regular buyers?
Sahi keh rahe ho. My neighbour also faced major issues with a previous scheme. They promised an apartment in Alwal, but after years of waiting and endless paperwork, it ended up being a tiny plot much further out, almost near the city
