TG-RERA strengthens enforcement with new buyer tools and penalties.
📢 Hyderabad, is RERA finally showing its teeth? Telangana RERA is stepping up enforcement with QR codes and online ATS registration, penalizing Ashritha Group (Jewels County) and Bhuvan Teza Infra Projects (Happy Homes Phase-1). What do these stricter rules mean for buyer safety and builder accountability in our city? How will this impact property prices?

This RERA move is a double-edged sword. On one hand, yes, it brings more accountability, which is much needed in Hyderabad's booming real estate. On the other hand, with construction costs already rising and demand high, builders might pass on compliance costs, potentially pushing property prices even higher. For first-time buyers, this market is already tough. We need RERA to ensure fair play, not just add another layer of cost.
I booked a flat in Happy Homes Phase-1 (Bhuvan Teza Infra) two years ago. They kept delaying the possession citing various reasons. Now RERA has penalized them. This gives me a little hope, but will it actually speed up my possession? I'm paying EMI and rent, it's a huge burden. Any idea how RERA intervention actually helps in getting possession faster?
Haan, same here. My brother had issues with a builder near Begumpet. RERA order came, builder paid a fine, but possession got delayed for another 6 months. At least kuch toh action hua, but it's not a magic wand for immediate possession.
Bhai, I feel your pain. RERA can impose penalties and direct builders, but the actual execution can still be slow. I've seen cases where builders pay the penalty and still delay. Best to follow up directly with RERA and legal counsel. Don't expect miracles overnight.
Property prices ka kya hoga? Builders compliance costs badha denge toh humara budget aur bigad jayega.
QR codes aur online ATS registration sounds promising. At least transparency toh badhegi. Builders ko ab har cheez online dikhani padegi, right? This should help first-time buyers like me avoid scams.
Haan bilkul, jaisa aapne kaha! I tried to get details for a plot in Alwal, builder ne saari information hide kar rakhi thi. They just showed me fancy brochures. If RERA makes all project details, approvals, and timelines transparent with these QR codes, it's a game-changer. But will they actually enforce it strictly?
Sounds good on paper, but implementation is key. Builder log shortcuts nikal hi lete hain. Aur yeh penalty amounts kitne hain? Agar chote amount hain toh builders ko farak nahi padega. Kya yeh really buyer safety guarantee karega?
Finally! RERA is actually doing something. Ashritha Group ko penalty mili toh shayad baaki builders bhi darenge. Good news for buyers like us!
Sahi keh rahe ho. I checked Ashritha Group too, total projects zero. This feels like RERA is penalizing someone who hasn't even started, just to show they're active. What about the big sharks? I've been waiting for possession for 3 years in a project near Attapur, builder ka koi naam nahi aata list mein.
Good news? Bhai, Ashritha ka toh ek bhi project deliver nahi hua hai as per RERA site. Total projects 0 dikha raha hai. Toh penalty kis baat ki? Just for show off?
