Builders always lowball the 'all-in cost' upfront in Hyderabad, it's a huge trap. We're looking for a 3BHK, maybe around Mehdipatnam or Narsingi, for the kids' school. My wife's super worried about unexpected charges. We saw a Salarpuria Sattva project, looked great. But beyond the base price, what about stamp duty, registration, PLC, parking, interiors? And hidden charges at possession? Is there any actual room to negotiate these prices, or is it just wishful thinking? I'm trying to figure out the true budget.

Bhai, you've hit the nail on the head! Salarpuria Sattva projects are good, but yes, the 'all-in' cost is a myth. My brother recently bought in Attapur, and the final amount was almost 15% higher than what was initially quoted. Stamp duty, registration, GST, maintenance advance for 2 years, electrical meter charges – it all adds up. Negotiation? Forget about the base price, sometimes you can push for a free parking slot or a minor discount on PLC if you're lucky and buying in bulk.
