Things nobody told me about new flat possession
Moved into Sobha Insignia last month, possession was in March. Honestly, site visits pe sab kuch ekdum perfect lagta tha, especially the clubhouse renders. Ab jab actual mein reh rahe hain, choti choti cheezein dikh rahi hain jo brochure mein dikhayi gayi thi, not quite matching up. Kafi amenities abhi bhi under construction hain, bolte hain 6 mahine mein ready ho jayenge, but I'm not so sure about that timeline. Construction quality mein bhi thode issues hain, yaar. Bathroom fittings abhi se loose ho gaye hain, aur ek wall pe hairline crack bhi dikh raha hai already. Matlab, it's only been a few months! Yeh sab cheezein jab dikhti hain toh lagta hai kya sirf glossy brochures pe trust karna chahiye tha? Anyone else faced this kind of difference between promised and delivered? Especially with premium projects. What was your first-hand experience after moving into a new Bangalore flat?

Bhai, exactly my fear! I'm also looking at premium projects in Bengaluru, and the marketing material is always so slick. My friend bought in Akshayanagar a couple of years back, same story – beautiful renders, but when he moved in, the amenities were nowhere near complete. This makes me super nervous about committing to anything expensive, especially with these big builders. So many hidden costs and broken promises. This is why
