Under-construction prices are a lie, change my mind
Did some deep dive research on a Prestige project near Sarjapur Road last night, and honestly, this hidden cost thing is making me mad. I'm based in Dubai, so site visits are tough. Builders quote one price per sqft, but then add PLC, car parking, club house, stamp duty, registration, legal fees, GST... it's like 20% extra minimum! My budget for a 2BHK is around ₹1.2 Cr, but the 'all-in' price quickly crosses ₹1.4 Cr. Is this the standard now? It feels like a bait-and-switch, yaar. For under-construction, the risk is already there with delays, aur upar se these hidden charges. Ready-to-move mein price difference itna zyada hai. What's the real ground reality for the final price in areas like Whitefield or even Jayamahal? Have others faced this? How do you verify the *actual* total cost from abroad?
