posted on 9 MayUnder-construction quality: my investor blind spot.
Honestly, I'm realizing that site visits for under-construction projects are way more critical than I thought. I'm currently in a 2BHK, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or villa like at Sobha Silicon Oasis, mostly for investment. Beyond the show flat, what specific construction quality red flags should I look for during under-construction site visits? Like, rebar exposure, concrete consistency, or plumbing lines before plastering? Does catching these early actually save future maintenance headaches and impact resale value?

Sobha Silicon Oasis toh already completed hai
Yaar, you hit the nail on the head! I'm also looking for a 3BHK in areas like Akshayanagar, and the thought of construction quality gives me sleepless nights. Builders show you fancy designs, but what's under the plaster? My cousin bought a flat in a reputed project, and within a year, seepage issues started. It's a huge investment, so this 'blind spot' is real for all of us first-timers.
