Budget finalised, loan pre-approved — now I'm stuck with Ambika Realcon's payment plan for my 2BHK in Sector 24C. We went for a construction-linked plan, thinking it was the safest. But now they're demanding an extra ₹8.5 lakhs for "external development charges" that were never clearly itemized in the initial agreement for this ₹85L flat. Honestly, I had no idea these could just pop up mid-construction. This totally messes with my total cost of acquisition and projected ROI. My parents keep saying builders always do this. Has anyone else faced these surprise demands from Ambika or other builders in Chandigarh mid-payment plan? What did you do to fight it or negotiate?

Yaar, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Builders always pull these stunts. My brother faced something similar with a project near New Chandigarh, though not Ambika. It's like they budget for these 'surprises' to cover their own cost overruns.
Bhai, ye toh common hai Ambika Realcon ke saath. Mere friend ke saath bhi same hua tha Zirakpur mein. Builder log aise hi karte hain.
