Since last month I've been seriously looking at a 3BHK in Sector 49, specifically a project by The Uppal Group. I work in real estate, but buying for myself is different. I'm seeing prices around ₹1.5 Cr. My main question is about negotiation here in Chandigarh. How much can you *really* knock off? Also, what hidden charges popped up for you near possession for a 3BHK in this range? Construction-linked payment plans seem good, but what's the actual total cost of acquisition after everything? What's your experience?

₹1.5 Cr for 3BHK in Sector 49 is already on the higher side, in my opinion. Negotiation? Bhai, builders in Chandigarh are quite firm these days, especially for projects with good connectivity. I tried negotiating hard for a place in Mullanpur Garibdass last year, and they barely budged. What's your expectation for a discount percentage?
