What's the actual deal with hidden charges from builders in Bangalore? I'm upgrading from my Whitefield 2BHK to a 3BHK near Sarjapur Road, maybe Total Environment. My current home loan was fine, but I hear about insane PLC, OC, and maintenance corpus demands popping up right before possession. Can you even negotiate these down? Or is the listed price just a starting point for endless surprises? Trying to get a real all-in cost is so frustrating.

Totally agree! Builders are masters of hidden costs. My friend booked in Whitefield and got hit with so many extra charges before possession, it was insane. PLC, infrastructure charges, legal fees... the list just kept growing. It feels like they lure you in with a base price and then just bleed you dry. Upgrade karna hai toh yeh sab dimaag kharab kar deta hai.
Haan bhai, same experience! RERA ke baad bhi kuch nahi badla. Builders ab bhi chalaaki karte hain.
