Upgrading in Chandigarh: Feeling the pinch, where's the value?
Been searching for almost a year now and honestly, the Chandigarh market feels crazy. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 44, but thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or small villa, maybe in Mohali or New Chandigarh. Already have a home loan, so the EMI jump is a huge factor. I keep hearing about prices stabilizing, but it doesn't feel like it on the ground. Are there really any 'price correction zones' left in Chandigarh, or is that just wishful thinking? Builders like Vamana Group or Sushma Buildtech in Zirakpur seem firm on their rates. How much room is there for actual negotiation? Should I focus more on resale in older sectors for better deals, or stick with new projects in Aerocity hoping for future appreciation? Just trying to figure out if this premium is justified.
