Okay I'll be honest — upgrading from my 2BHK in Sector 69 is proving way more complex than I imagined. I’m eyeing a 3BHK or a small villa in Mohali, checking out places like Satya Merano Greens. Already have a home loan, so this move needs to be smart. My biggest worry is promised amenities vs what actually gets delivered, and then the maintenance charges. Brochures show grand clubhouses and green spaces, but are they functional or just a huge bill? I’m worried about resale value and tenant attraction if facilities aren't kept up. Is the premium for new projects really worth it? Does good construction translate to lower long-term maintenance, or are we paying for future headaches?
