Upgrading to a 3BHK in Chandigarh: The hidden cost shocker
Sector 24C – this area was initially high on our list for a 3BHK upgrade, kids ke school admission ke liye. My wife really liked the school options nearby. We saw some flats around ₹1.2 Cr, thinking that's our budget for a bigger place. But then jab all-in cost calculate kiya, it hit us hard. Stamp duty, registration, parking, PLC – sab add karke it crosses ₹1.5 Cr easily for a decent 3BHK. Builders rarely give you the full picture upfront, especially about those hidden charges jo possession ke time hi reveal hote hain. Suna hai kuch builders toh maintenance ki details bhi last minute dete hain. Kitna realistically negotiate kar sakte hain Chandigarh mein? For an end-user like us, is it even possible to find a good 3BHK in Sector 44 or 49 under ₹1.5 Cr all-inclusive? Ya phir Mohali/Aerocity mein better options hain?
