Venkatesh Skylife visit: brochure vs reality check
Did a site visit to Venkatesh Skylife on Saturday and honestly wasn't expecting this. Everyone glorifies the brochure and those 'promised amenities', right? But okay, I'll say what no one says: what's the actual reality after possession? I'm a first-time buyer, and my parents keep saying construction quality is everything. Are those fancy clubhouses and sports facilities actually used daily, or are they just ghost facilities after a year? I'm worried about cracks, seepage, and fitting issues popping up. Is it just me, or do builders in Pune promise the moon and deliver a worn-out brick? Disagree? Tell me why.

Venkatesh Skylife is still upcoming, right? And the price range is ₹1.8 Cr – ₹2.6 Cr. For that kind of money, you'd expect top-notch quality, but somehow it feels like a gamble every time. Are they known for delivering on promises?
Good point. What's the RERA number for this project? That's the first thing I check
You're not alone! This is my biggest fear as a first-time buyer in Pune. The glossy pictures vs. ground reality is always a shock.
My friend booked in another 'upcoming' project on Sinhagad Road, and the finishing was so poor. Uneven walls, paint peeling within months, and the electrical fittings were substandard. They spent so much extra just to get basic quality. It's a huge hidden cost no one talks about. Just saying, be prepared for that.
Cracks and seepage are almost a given in new constructions these days, sadly. You have to be super vigilant during possession and even then, things pop up later. It's a nightmare to get builders to fix them.
Exactly! What about the common problems like cracks and seepage? Does anyone have experience specifically with Venkatesh projects?

Haan bilkul, same concern! Builders seem to focus more on the 'wow' factor in the brochure than actual liveability. Is Venkatesh Skylife any different?
Totally agree with your point, yaar! My cousin bought a flat near Akurdi a few years back, and the clubhouse is barely used. Most facilities are either poorly maintained or shut down. Construction quality was also a huge issue for them, especially with the plumbing.
