What builders hide about long-term maintenance costs
Honestly, I thought my industry experience would save me, but this Mohali property hunt is something else. I'm looking at Mapsko Gardenia for investment. What's the *real* construction quality affecting resale and tenant appeal? I know what builders don't tell you, but after a year, do you face unexpected seepage or fitting issues? Does the snag list become a nightmare? And those 'premium' amenities – do they actually justify higher EMIs or just add to maintenance charges without adding value? I need off-the-record opinions from actual residents.

Totally agree with this post. Builders show fancy brochures but maintenance charges always shoot up without any real justification. My friend bought a flat in Baharampur Naya and the society fees doubled in two years for basic stuff like security and common area cleaning. Mapsko Gardenia sounds good on paper but after-sales service and hidden costs are my biggest fear.
Sahi kaha bhai! My biggest fear is getting stuck with a project where amenities are just for show and the core construction is weak. What about the quality of construction itself?
