Is anyone else feeling like the EMI vs rent debate in Rajkot is finally tilting towards buying? I just got possession of my 2BHK in Krishna Kunj, Mota Mava, in March. Before that, I was renting a decent 2BHK near University Road for ₹16k/month. My current EMI is around ₹32k. Honestly, I thought renting was just throwing money away, especially with rents seemingly climbing everywhere. But now, with society maintenance, property tax, and other unexpected costs adding up, I'm not sure if I actually made the best financial move. For young professionals, is it still smarter to rent in areas like Kalawad Road for flexibility? Or does owning eventually pay off more in the long run? What's your first-hand experience here? Did I miss something big?
