What new construction quality really costs investors

Just moved into Ambika Florence Park last month, and already noticing some minor seepage and fitting issues. Makes me wonder about long-term maintenance costs and resale value. Investors, are these common for new projects? Does good initial construction quality *really* translate to better tenant attraction and ROI over time, or do amenities drive premiums more?
