What no one tells you about builder payment plans

Visited a couple of ATS projects in Sector 150 last week. I'm so fed up of renting, finally taking the plunge. Everyone glorifies RERA protecting buyers, but nobody talks about how construction-linked payment plans are still a massive trap. They drain you monthly with EMI before possession. This EMI vs rent math gets wild. Change my mind?
