What nobody says about market timing in Chandigarh
My landlord just hiked rent by 12% for my 3BHK in Mohali Sector 69. Honestly, I'm fed up of renting, been doing it for years. Finally decided to take the plunge and buy something in Chandigarh area. Everyone keeps saying 'wait for the right time' or 'market will correct,' but yaar, when is that 'right time' even? Property prices in New Chandigarh, especially near Aerocity, just keep inching up. Mohali International Airport expansion aur PR7 Airport Road ka impact already dikh raha hai. Log bolte hain Godrej Properties ya Omaxe ka naya project aayega toh prices thode stable honge, but I'm not seeing it. Okay, I'll say what no one says: Market timing is a myth for end-users, isn't it? Is waiting just losing money to rent and inflation? Should I just jump in for a 2BHK in Zirakpur now, or really hold out for a deal in Sector 44? What's the real ground reality? Change my mind. Disagree? Tell me why.
