What nobody tells first-time buyers about costs

Honestly, I had no idea how many extra costs come with buying property. Beyond the flat price for my Arttech Elegant Homes Llp unit in Sushant Lok II, stamp duty, registration, and interiors are adding up significantly. My parents keep saying to budget 15-20% extra. Is that typically enough for a 2BHK in Gurugram? What hidden costs did you face?

Yaar, totally relate! Mere saath bhi yahi hua. I booked in 'Palm Greens' near Badshahpur and thought I had everything covered. But then GST, EDC/IDC, club membership, maintenance advance for 2 years... it all added up like crazy. 15-20% is just the starting point, I'd say more like 25% for a decent 2BHK in Gurugram, especially if you want decent interiors.
