Paying ₹45k rent in Vasant Kunj, I'm honestly fed up. Landlord hiked it again, so I'm finally taking the plunge to buy. Been looking at 2BHKs around Dwarka, prices are wild, like ₹1.8Cr for something decent. I'm trying to figure out the *real* all-in cost. Builders like Chaudhary Realtors quote one price, but then there's stamp duty, registration, parking, PLC... it just adds up. What's the typical final percentage over the base price I should expect? Also, how do you guys deal with the super area vs carpet area thing? It feels like a trap sometimes, the numbers just don't match up. Not sure how to verify the actual usable space before signing anything. Any advice on getting a clear picture of the final outflow?

OP, you're absolutely right to be worried. Chaudhary Realtors ka track record utna accha nahi hai, especially on delivery timelines. For the actual cost, expect at least 10-15% *extra* on top of the base price. This includes stamp
Bhai, same exact situation here! ₹45k rent is crazy. I'm also looking in Dwarka and the hidden costs are giving me nightmares. So glad someone brought this up, it feels like everyone is trying to hide something.
