What they don't tell you about builder charges

₹75 lakh for a 2BHK in DLF Phase 2 for Sunder Luxury Floors seems okay, but honestly, I'm worried about the final bill. Everyone glorifies these builders, but nobody talks about the insane hidden charges that appear right before possession. My friend got hit with huge PLC and EDC amounts for his Pyramid Palm County flat near Dwarka Expressway, way more than what was discussed initially. It makes me wonder if these builders just quote low to lure you in, then sting you with all sorts of 'extras'. Is it just me, or do Sunder Homes and Pyramid Infratech both do this? Change my mind if I'm wrong, but it feels like a total scam.
