What they don't tell you about living here
After 3 months of living in Omaxe Gardenia Floors, I'm already seeing some things nobody mentioned during site visits. We moved here from a rented place, really wanted our own space, thought Omaxe offered a good package. Brochure looked great, sales pitch was solid. We checked out a few other places too but this one felt right at the time. Now, the power backup situation is a bit iffy. They promised full flat backup, but it's mostly just common areas and one light/fan point. Is this normal for Chandigarh societies? Also, water supply feels a bit inconsistent, sometimes low pressure, sometimes tanker dependency. What's the real deal with tank capacity here? And the elevators... they're slow and maintenance response isn't great. Just wondering if others have similar experiences or if I'm overthinking it.

Totally relate, yaar! We almost booked here last year, but then heard whispers about Omaxe's delivery track record and general quality issues. The sales guys make everything sound perfect, full flat backup bolte hain, but ground reality kuch aur hoti hai. Especially in new projects around New Chandigarh, it's a common trick. Ab toh darr lag raha hai ki kahin hum bhi aise hi trap na ho jaate. Thanks for sharing your honest experience, it really helps us first-time buyers.
Haan bhai,
