Yelahanka's family appeal hides serious infrastructure gaps
Yelahanka — everyone talks it up for family living, but I'm honestly seeing some red flags after a couple of site visits. We need a 3BHK, wife's priority is a good school nearby and a safe locality for the kids. Projects like Sattva Lake Ridge look good on paper, but I'm hearing mixed reviews about actual amenities and the builder's delivery timeline. Compared to what other parts of Bangalore offer, the current infrastructure in Yelahanka still feels a bit... developing. Is the traffic going to be a nightmare with upcoming school admissions? And what about water supply, especially in these larger complexes? I'm worried about future noise pollution too. Am I overthinking, or are these real concerns for families moving there? Has anyone bought here and faced these issues?

Bhai, you hit the nail on the head. We almost booked a flat in Yelahanka last year, near Aavalahalli, but backed out after hearing too many horror stories about water supply. One society I visited had tankers coming almost daily during summer. Plus, the main roads are getting choked, and with so many new projects coming up, it's only going to get worse. Builder promises are one thing, delivery is another. We saw a project where the club house was still a mud pit two years after possession!
Totally agree with the original post! Yelahanka sounds great on paper, especially for families, but the ground reality seems different. I'm also looking for a 3BHK and the traffic situation near schools is a huge concern for me. Plus, the price difference isn't always justifying the infrastructure gap compared to more developed areas.
