My kids have moved out, so I'm selling our big house and looking for something smaller, more manageable. Disha Park West in Bengaluru has caught my eye, priced around ₹89L. Since it's a completed project, I'm really trying to understand the actual day-to-day living experience there. Is it genuinely a good place to settle down, yaani, is the society vibe friendly for older folks, or is it mostly younger families? Also, neighborhood facilities, especially hospitals nearby, kitne dur hain? And for daily needs, are there decent markets close by? Don't want to drive too far for essentials. Anyone living there or visited recently, please share your honest opinion. Maintenance charges ka bhi idea chahiye.
My calculated risk on Disha Park West isn't paying off like I expected, ab thoda frustrated hoon. ₹89L investment hai, completed project hai, but rental yield barely 2.5% aa raha hai. Monthly EMI cover karna bhi mushkil ho raha. Resale market bhi utna liquid nahi lag raha, capital appreciation bahut slow hai. Is it just me, ya others also feeling this pinch with completed projects like this? What's your exit strategy for such situations?
