Kids have moved out, so I'm selling my big house. Looking at smaller apartments. Gaurs Platinum Towers looks fancy, but is it worth the high price? Purvanchal Mecon Apartments are older, but maybe more practical? Maintenance charges kya hai dono jagah? Need a good lift and close to a hospital. Resale se jo paisa aayega, should I invest it all, or keep some for emergencies? Honestly not sure what to do.
Thinking of upgrading from my 2BHK in Sector 75. I'm looking at Gaursons Gaurs Platinum Towers, but the price jump is huge! Is the PLC and all that jazz actually worth it? It's like double Purvanchal Group Mecon Apartments. Honestly not sure if the carpet area justifies the price difference. Anyone living in Gaurs Platinum? What's the actual usable space like? I heard Purvanchal Mecon has better layouts, less wasted space. Also, Gaurs Platinum's maintenance charges… ouch! Is the clubhouse *that* much better? My main worry is ROI in the long run. Is the resale value really going to be that much higher for Gaurs? Currently have a home loan, so another huge EMI is scary. Anyone else compared these two? Real experiences only, please! Ready to move is *always* better than under construction, right? I'm leaning towards Purvanchal Saket Dham since it's OC received. My wife's priority is a safe society for the kids. But honestly, the Mecon Apartments project is tempting coz of the potential appreciation. Saket Dham's price per sqft seems high though. Are we actually getting more usable space?
