Fed up of renting man, this EMI vs rent math is finally making sense. I'm seriously looking at Mohali, specifically Surendra Krishna Homes. Brochure mein amenities aur construction quality toh badi achhi dikhti hai. But I'm worried about the real picture after possession. Has anyone bought there? Yaar, construction quality ka kya scene hai? Cracks, seepage issues toh nahi aate ek saal baad? Aur jo promised clubhouse, green areas hain, woh actually usable hain ya bas showpiece?
Honestly, I'm regretting not doing more due diligence on builder timelines. Just got possession of my 2BHK in Surendra Krishna Homes last month, after a 10-month delay. The brochure promised Q4 2023, but it dragged on. My initial calculation for rental yield is completely off now, lost almost a year's rent. The area's still quite raw, amenities like the clubhouse are nowhere near completion. This definitely affects capital appreciation in the short term, right? I was hoping for quick appreciation but now I'm worried about the resale market. Did anyone else face significant delays with them? What was your actual rental income like once you finally leased it out? Wondering if I should just hold or cut my losses in a few years.
Okay, I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is. Surendra Krishna Homes, Sector 86 mein dekh raha hoon. My budget ₹1 Cr ke aas-paas hai aur ye project fit ho raha hai. As a first-time buyer, I'm super nervous. Jo log wahan rehte hain, unka experience kaisa hai? Genuinely rehne layak hai ya sirf paper pe accha lagta hai? Society ka vibe friendly hai ya isolated rehte hain sab? Aur 2BHK mein carpet area kitna efficient feel hota hai? Daily convenience ke liye nearby markets, schools ka kya scene hai? Parents toh keh rahe hain builder ka track record dekho, but I'm really looking for actual resident feedback. Ab samajh nahi aa raha.
My lease ends in 3 months and honestly, I'm fed up of renting now. Finally taking the plunge for my own place. Surendra Krishna Homes dekh raha tha, budget ₹97.22 L–₹1.05 Cr ke aas paas hai for a 2/3 BHK. But is it genuinely good to live there daily, ya bas paper pe acha lagta hai? I'm worried about the neighbourhood quality. Schools, hospitals, markets, sab nearby hain kya? Ya phir commute mein time waste hoga? And amenities ka real scene kya hai? Swimming pool, gym, clubhouse... are they actually useful and well-maintained, ya bas showpiece hain? Koi actual resident bata sakta hai daily life wahan kaisi hai?
